What is Emmata?
Designed for education, Emmata is an easy to use Secure Content Management System for Apple iOS devices - iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Securely push content to a single device, customized group of classes or your entire school network. Track content usage and easily pull content off devices when it is no longer needed.

Educators: Use Emmata to send course material to your students.

Mobile: Wirelessly distribute files and let your students and staff be mobile; taking their files with them. Files can be worked with online or offline. All activity is tracked and transmitted back, via the web, for reporting purposes. Works with WiFi and 3G.

Media: Create media or content using your familiar applications. Media files types include:
· Videos
· PDF's
· Keynote presentations
· Spreadsheets
· Word documents etc.

And: Now what is the benefit of being able to do this? Simply put, Knowledge is a powerful thing. Sharing that knowledge is done through effective communications using todays technology.

Teaching: Wouldn't it be nice to know that the materials you are sharing are actually being used? Well, with Emmata, thats possible. Once information is sent and a user opens it, the device reports back letting you know. Track media and device usage such as when media was opened and how long it was viewed.

Assistant: Emmata becomes your teaching assistant. When uploading media files, set a start date and expiration date. Organize your files to automatically send to the devices on a predetermined date.

Files that are expired or no longer valid can be removed from the device using Emmata. This can be done automatically or manually.

You can run reports via your web browser to assist you in knowing the effectiveness of your information and the amount of interaction from your users.
